On November 8, 2024, the Guidance and Testing Center of Ramon Magsasyay Memorial Colleges – Marbel, Inc. (RMMC-MI) hosted the first-ever Genie Day marking a significant milestone in welcoming the new set of Peer Facilitators for the academic year. This said event was participated by the new and existing per facilitators. The highlight of this event included the orientation session for the new members that aimed to familiarize them with their responsibilities and functions as peer facilitators. The program also featured a ceremonial welcome for the newbies to further solidify their commitment to the group. On this said event, Mariann Cepillo-Julian, Rpm, the Guidance Facilitator/Psychometrician of NDMU-IBED Junior High School Department, discussed the topic on the “Roles & Responsibilities of a Peer facilitator and how to be an effective peer facilitator” while Steve R. Dasmariñas, RPm, the Guidance Facilitator of RMMC-MI’s College of Business and Accountancy, discussed the Peer Facilitator by-laws. The event served as an avenue for both learning and camaraderie, equipping each Peer Facilitator with the tools and knowledge they need to effectively guide their fellow students.
