Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges- Marbel, Inc. (RMMC-mi) has
reaffirmed its collaboration by renewing its Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) with Bath Spa University,
April 24 2025, continuing a productive
relationship that has forged educational growth and innovation.
In the same event, RMMC-MI also entered into a new MOU with the
Metaverse Training Institute which marks a forward-looking step
into immersive education and digital learning through
KHDA-approved programs, including short courses offerings across
various disciplines.
The delegates also visited Walsh College in Abu Dhabi which
expressed its openness to formalizing a partnership through an MOU
signing with their innovative programs in business and
technology.
This was the delegates' last stop before heading back to the
Philippines to lay the groundwork for transformative
internationalized approach to education.
RMMC-MI and Gensan are the first Philippine academic institutions
to be officially welcomed by Rabdan Academy, a prestigious
government-owned institution in the UAE known for its focus on
security, defense, emergency preparedness, and crisis management
(SSDEC), for a dialogue on potential collaboration held in Abu
Dhabi.
The meeting was attended by H.E. Alfonso Ferdinand A. Ver,
Philippine Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, and Arvic V.
Arevalo, Deputy Head of Mission, who also hosted the delegates
during their visit to the embassy in UAE.
The exploratory dialogue was made possible through the help of Dr.
Rex Bacarra, a renowned Filipino, UAE-based professor at Zayed
Military University–Rabdan Academy.
RMMC-MI visited Skyline University College yesterday,
April 22, 2025 to renew its academic
collaboration, furthering a strong partnership that has supported
joint activities such as research presentations, webinars, and
online training, especially impactful during the pandemic. During
the visit, Dr. Albert Balongoy, Vice President for Academic
Affairs, presented the college’s best practices to Skyline’s
department heads, highlighting initiatives that have contributed
to academic excellence throughout the years.
The delegation also met with Westford University College for a
sharing of best practices where the International Relations
Officer, John Loren Jacolo, introduced the college for mutual
learning and future cooperation between institutions.
RMMC-MI has also signed a new MOU with Angel Wings International
Tourism LLC, to pave the way for collaborative programs that will
support student development in the tourism and hospitality
sectors, and open doors to educational tours in the UAE offering
students immersive learning experiences beyond the classroom.
These engagements mark RMMC-MI’s commitment to international
collaboration and academic innovation.
The delegations from RMMC-MI and Gensan officially kicked off
their week-long visit to the United Arab Emirates on
April 21, 2025, as part of their academic
internationalization initiatives. The team paid a courtesy call on
the Consul General of the Republic of the Philippines in Dubai,
H.E. Marford M. Angeles. They also held a conference at the
Geoscience Testing Laboratory, where they explored potential
training and immersion opportunities for STEM students. As part of
the visit, the group took a quick tour of the facility’s
analytical, physical, and environmental laboratories, where
current testing procedures and state-of-the-art equipment were
showcased.
To cap off the day, both institutions signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) with the Institute of Global Education and
Management (I-GEM) and the Philippine Institute of Certified
Public Accountants (PICPA) Dubai and Northern Emirates. The
partnership aims to strengthen professional development programs
in the fields of accounting, finance, and business.
"The world becomes smaller when we reach beyond our borders, but its impact becomes greater when we remain grounded in our purpose," John Loren Jacolo, International Relations Officer, reminded the attendees of the seminar Introducing IZN and the COIL Program: Glocal reach and impact on March 24, 2025 at RMMC-MI Campus. The seminar, through Dr. Erwin Faller, introduced the faculty and staff of RMMC-MI to internationalization as mandated by CHED. This initiative aims to enhance the global engagement of the institution through collaboration with international partners and promoting diverse academic experiences for students. Participants discussed the importance of integrating global perspectives into the curriculum to prepare students for success in an increasingly interconnected world. In this context, they were also introduced to the COIL Program, which aims to enhance international collaboration and foster cross-cultural understanding among students. This program is intending to broaden students' educational experiences by connecting them with peers from around the globe using a home-based approach. The seminar concluded with an inspiring call to action for faculty and staff to embrace internationalization, enhancing both their teaching and students' learning experiences through global collaboration and cultural exchange. Millado, MBA, MA, MPMA; Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Kristoffer Franz Mari Millado; Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Albert Balongoy, program directors and coordinators, faculty and selected staff.

President and CEO of Davao Doctor's College, conducted a
benchmarking visit to Kansai University in Osaka, Japan. They were
accompanied by Davao Doctors College Chief Academic Officer Dr.
Erlyn Jessie Dy, and Dr. Erwin Faller, Consultant for
Internationalization and Linkages at Quipper Philippines.
The
benchmarking visit provided participants with valuable insights
into Kansai University's educational system and best
practices, fostering the potential for future partnerships and
collaborates between institutions. The entire endeavor was made
possible through the support of Quipper Philippines.
To foster global academic connections, Quipper Philippines organized a benchmarking visit to Okayama University in Japan, bringing together representatives from Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges-Marbel, Inc. and other partner institutions. The visit provide an opportunity to explore the academic practices and innovative strategies employed at Okayama University, with a focus on fostering collaboration and potential partnerships between the Japanese institution and Philippines schools. Quipper Philippines' facilitation of this initiative underscores its commitment to advancing international academic linkages and enhancing educational experiences for its partner schools.
CHEDRO XII and Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges-Marbel, Inc.,
welcomed the Consul General of the Consulate of the Republic of
Indonesia, Dr. Achmad Djatmiko, and his staff in his courtesy
visit to Koronadal City last October 16, 2024.

led the consul's visit to the RMMC-MI Arellano Campus. She
was with RMMC Gensan Delegation, led by its president, Dr.
Kristoffer Franz Mari R. Millado, EdD, and Executive Assistant for
Admin and Finance, Johann Sebastian Millado, MBA.
The visit
boosts RMMC-MI's bid for internationalization through
collaborative initiatives and cultural exchange, establishing
meaningful partnerships for mutual academic and cultural
enrichment.
