Local PRISAA commenced at the SMRAA Complex, Koronadal City, on February 29, 2024, with the theme: โ€œSteadfast in Advancing and Sustaining Grassroots Sports Development for Excellence.โ€ The participating schools in this Local PRISAA include all the private schools within the South Cotabato and Koronadal areas. The opening program started with the entrance of the heads and presidents of the different schools within the South Cotabato and Koronadal Areas, PRISAA Officers, Sports and Socio-cultural coordinators, coaches, and athletes. This was followed by the invocation and singing of the Philippine National Anthem by the NDMU Tambuli Singers and NDMU Symphonic Band. The South Cotabato Hymn and Martsa ng Koronadal followed in the overture.

The Opening Salvo was graced by the RMMC-MI Helobung Scholars and was followed by the Opening Message of Mr. Noli Sulleza, the Local PRISAA Vice Chair. The opening speech was followed by the hoisting of banners of different participating schools, the professing of the Oath of Sportsmanship led by Volleyball Women Silver Medalist Bea Johanna Legado, and the Ceremonial Kick initiated by PRISAA Region 12 Sports Executive Director Mr. Romer Libuna. In his message, Local PRISAA Chairman, Dr. John Thomas C. Franco, RN, MAN, emphasized that good attitude towards the game is needed not only in the game but in all aspects as well, since it is what students should have. He added that student athletes must always prioritize their studies above everything. He ended the speech with an encouragement to the athletes to aim for excellence, and an assurance that they are doing everything to support inclusivity in sports. After Dr. Franco's speech, SK Federation President Hon. Vincent Figueroa delivered their message of inspiration and support for the event with his assurance on the support of the local government towards the different sports event in the province. Afterwards, representatives from different schools, along with the NDMU Archers, lit the symbolic torch. The Opening Program concluded with the official opening of the PRISAA Games, which Dr. Franco initiated, and the final presentation of the NDMU PEFS Club.
