The Linggo ng Kaagapay, or Community Extension Week, emerges from the recognition that a community is more than just a geographical location—it is a tapestry woven together by the unique stories, talents, and shared experiences of its inhabitants. It is a time to reflect on our interconnectedness and to foster a culture of mutual support and collaboration of RMMC-MI and Brgy. Saravia. Linggo ng Kaagapay is a platform for recognizing the richness of diversity within the community and for harnessing this diversity as a source of strength. Linggo ng Kaagapay is not merely a week of events; it is a testament to the strength that emerges when a community comes together with a shared purpose. By fostering a sense of belonging, celebrating diversity, and encouraging active participation, this event contributes to the long-term resilience and prosperity of the community. PASKWAHAN is conducted annually, it is a way to spread joy and goodwill during the festive season. It demonstrates a spirit of generosity, compassion, and community service, aligning with the values of Christmas. It's an opportunity to share blessings with those in need and foster a sense of togetherness and caring within the community. This outreach program can have a significant impact by spreading joy and support during the holiday season. It often brings communities together, fosters a sense of unity, and provides assistance to those in need.

The purposeof this is to strengthen the spirit of volunteerism among student, employees,and alumni and to gather up volunteers in iKaagapay community extension programof RMMC-MI for the institution to create pool of volunteers.

RMMC-MI Community Extension Kick-Off And MOA Signing

RMMC-MI Community Extension Kick-Off And MOA Signing was conducted in line with the integral function of institution of higher learning for the purpose of providing avenues for leadership that will bring about the change and development among communities. With that being said, it is our social responsibility to (1) strengthen the institutionalization of the community programs through partnerships and collaboration, (2) develop and implement sustainable services, (3) continue to develop and capacitate administrators, faculty and students to innovate and propagate extension program and (4)establish stronger linkages with different agencies. To fulfill these goals of Community Extension Unit, the office of Research, Extension, External Affairs and Development will conduct its Community Extension Kick Off for iKaagapay at Brgy. Saravia, Koronadal City along with its mini-activities such as on-site visit and community needs assessment and volunteer signing. . The objectives of these are the following:
a. To introduce the partner community the sense and purpose of the iKaagapay program of RMMC-MI;
b. To establish stronger linkage between RMMC-MI and partner community; and
c. To formalizethe entry of RMMC-MI to the community through MOA signing.

REEDOkasyon Series 1

REEDOkasyon Series 1 is a Seminar with the theme “Ako, Ang RMMC - MI, At Ang Komunidad: Advancing RMMC - MI On the Basics And Procedures of Community Service”, provided an opportunity to the employees and students in cultivating hidden personality of an individual, like, leadership skills, public speaking, self-confidence, and empower everyone about the beauty of engaging to any community outreach activity. This also deepen the understanding and knowledge about the requirements and procedures especially in designing implementing monitoring and evaluating community extension programs.

Barangay Saravia, located in the heart of Koronadal City, has long been a vibrant community, rich in culture and diversity. Through this partnership with Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges-Marbel, Inc., the barangay is poised to benefit from a range of programs and services designed to address the needs of its residents and uplift their standard of living. From health and wellness initiatives to livelihood training, this collaboration seeks to empower the people of Barangay Saravia with the tools they need for success. For RMMC-MI, the partnership represents an opportunity to engage with the local community in a meaningful way. The school has always been committed to its vision of creating a positive impact not only within the campus but also in the surrounding areas, particularly those in need of support and resources.
