Through the efforts and initiative of the Gender and Development (GAD) Office of RMMC-MI and its collaboration with PNP-Koronadal, the full-time faculty of RMMC-MI underwent an orientation on the RA 11313, also known as the Safe Spaces Act or Anti-Bastos Law, on May 17, 2024. PCMS Ronald L. Delfin, PCAD, PNCO of PNP-Koronadal conducted the orientation to raise awareness of the different gender-based violence present in the workplace. The objectives of this endeavor were to address harassment or disrespect, promote a safe and inclusive community, and encourage to recognize and value personal boundaries.
To raise awareness of the political risks and challenges on different social media platforms, the PNP-Regional Police Community Affairs and Development Unit 12 conducted an information drive at RMMC-MI Arellano Campus on May 13, 2024. This was participated by selected students from the different programs, including selected Senior High School students. PNP-RPCCADU 12 provided our students with varied strategies to effectively manage their online presence and promote responsible and ethical behavior in the virtual world where everyone is interconnected.
